This river tour departs from Sanlucar de Barrameda and allows visitors to learn some historical and geomorphologic aspects of the most important waterway in Andalusia, the Guadalquivir River.
The trip includes navigation along the Guadalquivir River and one stop walking in Doñana. The trip develops as follows:
- Departure from the dock in Bajo de Guia, on the beach of Sanlucar de Barrameda. Navigation along the Guadalquivir River. On board you will hear explanations about the Guadalquivir River and Doñana National and Natural Park.
- Landing at “Poblado de la Plancha”, an ancient village of huts within the Doñana National Park. About 1 hour stay, where on a guided walking tour you will visit the huts and the “Llanos de Velázquez” and “Llanos de la Plancha”, where usually wildlife of the Park abounds. Then we go back on board to continue to our next stop, the marshes.
- Back to the boat and sailing back to Bajo de Guía (Sanlúcar de Barrameda)
